This book kept me reading non stop. It was never boring. The story was a great combination of history, mystery, romance and suspense. M.B. Nasdeo demonstrates wonderful writing skills that kept the story moving from beginning to sad end. I LOVED IT and cannot wait for her next book to come out.

I loved the story. I love the world of Avonridge the author created. The heroine was strong, intelligent and very likable. The author took time to develop a heroine I came to love. Some of the characters were not at all predictable which I found to be a truly enjoyable twist. I loved every page of this book. The only problem is I would return from lunch late because I couldn’t put it down.

This was a wonderful fantasy tale. It transports the reader to a different time period but still keeps the reader engrossed in all the believable characters and creatures. Does not take long to finish this book at all. Highly recommend this enjoyable read!
